The Mary Study group consists of interested individuals who want to learn more about Our Lady and her role in Salvation History in order to learn more about her Son Jesus. The goal of this study is to deepen our Catholic faith through a multi-dimensional study of Mariology, which includes the following:
Sacred Scripture
Church’s Tradition
Church’s Magisterium
This group meets weekly during the months of September through May, using different catechetical methods of lecture, DVD based instruction, Guest Speakers, and Individual Study. The group meets for 90 minutes of classroom instruction where we investigate and discuss the many different aspects of how Mary fits into the larger picture in salvation history. Finally, the study of Mary is closely linked with the study of the Church (Ecclesiology) where comparisons are made which connect the two into a comprehensive theological study. The only requirement to join this group is a desire to learn more about your faith. Come and join us, you won’t be disappointed.
